Embroidery Information

Got something special in mind for your VW? Rugs for Bugs can help by creating one off mats and carpets unique to you and your ride. 

We can embroider designs and logos on to your mats. We hold a number of designs in stock which are available in our embroidery section.

Costs and placements

Simply add your chosen design from our embroidery section to your order and we will add your design to your mats where possible. Each placement of a design costs £6.

For example: a T5 cab mat would have your chosen design added twice to the mat, one driver side and the other passenger side, each costing £6. So the cost would £12 in addition the cost of the actual mat. 

Using our online embroidery service you can currently add a design to van cab mats, van side step mats, van living space mats and car over mat sets.

Available materials and use of patches

Patches

Due to the size and thickness of some of our mats we embroider designs onto a vinyl patch and then sew the patch to the mat. For our smaller mats we embroider directly into the carpet.

Mats and carpets that require a patch are:
Van cab mats
Living area mats
Mats made in Luxury Alpine, Premium Pearl, Checked Out and Coffee Sack.

 

Materials

We are NOT able to add embroidery to any of our rubber mats. 
 

Custom artwork or placements

If you would like a bespoke design, a design in a location not specified in our placement guide, or have any other requests please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Please be aware there is a one off fee of £18 to convert customer supplied artwork to a format suitable for our embroidery machines.
